Tesla's one-millionth car rolls off assembly line

ANKARA (AA) - Electric carmaker Tesla has produced its one-millionth automobile, according to the company's CEO, Elon Musk.

"Congratulations Tesla team on making our 1,000,000th car," Musk tweeted on Tuesday.

Thus, the company achieved its goal of producing 1 million cars by 2020.

Founded in 2003, Tesla is an American company that builds not only all-electric vehicles but also infinitely scalable clean energy generation and storage products.

The carmaker launched its fourth electric vehicle, the Model Y in 2019, after introducing Model S, Model X and Model 3.
