Top Russian officials declare annual income
President Vladimir Putin earned 10.2 million rubles ($122,600) in 2021, according to online declaration

MOSCOW (AA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin earned 10.2 million rubles ($122,600) last year, according to his online declaration of income released Friday.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported an annual income of 14.5 million rubles, while his wife, Olympic champion figure skater Tatyana Navka, earned 218.5 million rubles.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin's income was 18.3 million rubles, according to the declaration released on the Kremlin's website.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov brought in 12.6 million rubles.
According to Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu's declaration, he earned 16.6 million rubles.
All Russian officials at all levels must annually present their income in a framework of anti-corruption measures.
This year, Putin signed a law authorizing the expropriation of funds of officials that they cannot confirm as legally acquired.
