20-year-old girl missing after storm drags vehicle into stream, says governor of southern Antalya province

ANTALYA, Turkey (AA) - At least one person was killed and 11 others injured when a powerful tornado hit Turkey's southern coastal Antalya province, according to the provincial governor.
"One person was killed, 11 were injured including one critically. A girl studying in university went missing in Kemer district's Kuzderesi," Munir Karaloglu told Anadolu Agency.
Karaloglu said the girl was said to have been in the car with her mother as the storm dragged the car into a stream.
"Her mother survived, however, the 20-year-old girl is still missing," Karaloglu said adding that the search and rescue efforts were launched to find the missing girl.
The powerful storm started Wednesday night, hitting Antalya's Kumluca, Kemer and Finike districts and damaging buildings, agricultural areas and vehicles.
