Tribal clashes kill 7 in southeastern Sudan: Report
23 more also wounded in renewed clashes in Blue Nile state, local media reports

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AA) - At least seven people were killed and 23 others injured in renewed tribal clashes in southeastern Sudan, local media reported on Friday.
Citing a security official, SUNA news agency said that the clash took place in the Roseires town of the Blue Nile state and that a committee has been formed to investigate the incident.
The cause of the clashes was not immediately clear.
The official added that a partial curfew was also imposed in several areas.
In mid-July, the Blue Nile state saw bloody tribal clashes that left 109 people dead and hundreds of others injured. Nearly 31,100 people were displaced as a result of the clashes, according to the UN.
