Turkey: 1 killed in cargo vessel explosion
Explosion occurs due to gas entrapment in vessel's boiler room, initial reports suggest

SINOP, Turkey (AA) - An explosion in a cargo vessel killed one person and injured another near the Black Sea province of Sinop on Wednesday, according to initial reports.
According to the information obtained by Anadolu Agency correspondents, the explosion occurred due to gas entrapment in the boiler room of the vessel, which anchored 15 miles off Sinop province.
The injured person, who was rescued via a maritime police boat, has been referred to a state hospital in the province.
