Turkey: 2 arrested over smuggling historical artifacts
Security teams confiscate 720 coins and 20 objects

KONYA, Turkey (AA) – Turkish security forces on Tuesday nabbed two suspects over smuggling historical artifacts.
Acting on a tip-off, the provincial anti-smuggling and organized crime unit stopped a vehicle for search in Konya province, said the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
A total of 720 coins and 20 objects were seized and two suspects were arrested during the search.
