Turkey congratulates Azerbaijan on Republic Day

ANKARA (AA) - President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday congratulated Azerbaijan on its 101st Republic Day, according to Azerbaijani presidential sources.

"I express once again my wishes for peace and prosperity to you and health and happiness to friendly and brotherly Azerbaijani people," Erdogan said in a message to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.

He went on to say that close cooperation between the two countries will significantly contribute to peace, prosperity and stability beyond the region.

"I would like to emphasize once again that we are determined to further strengthening our strategic relationship with the slogan 'One nation, two states'," Erdogan added.
