Turkey: Global flour sector congress ends in Antalya

Prominent annual event for Turkish flour sector discusses agricultural policies, licensed warehousing, global grain sector

ANTALYA, Turkey (AA) - The global gathering of flour-based industrialists has ended in the holiday resort city of Antalya on Saturday.

The 15th Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation (TFIF) International Congress and Exhibition hosted nearly 1,000 sector representatives from around 10 countries.

Organized under the theme of "Global Trade Wheat and Licensed Warehousing", the event addressed a variety of subjects such as agricultural policies, licensed warehousing, challenges in global grain sector, blockchain technologies in agriculture.

Participants also sought for establishing trade opportunities and further developing the existing ties.

The federation, founded in 2004, represents 90% of the Turkish flour sector with over 400 members in Turkey.
