ADANA, Turkey (AA) - A plane in southern Turkey made a safe landing on Friday after a temporary loss of cabin pressure, with no injuries reported, according to state airport agency sources.
The SunExpress flight from the resort city of Antalya lost cabin pressure due to a technical malfunction before its approach to the airport in southern Adana, said the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Due to the drop in cabin pressure, oxygen masks were deployed for the passengers’ safety, and the plane made a safe and successful landing.
As the passengers were evacuated from the plane, ambulances came to the runway as a safety measure. No injuries were reported.
