Turkey remands in custody Daesh-linked terror suspect

HATAY, Turkey (AA) - A Syrian national suspected of links to the Daesh terror group was arrested Thursday in southern Turkey, according to security sources.

After the arrest in the Iskenderun district of Hatay, the suspect was transferred to court, said the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

The suspect was later remanded in custody.
