Turkey sends medical supplies to Northern Cyprus
TRNC premier thanks Turkey for aid that includes 20,000 test kits, 10 ventilators and 2 PCR machines

LEFKOSA (AA) – Turkey donated on Sunday three truckloads of medical supplies to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to help it tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
TRNC Health Minister Ali Pilli received the aid at an event in the capital Lefkosa.
Speaking during the ceremony, TRNC Prime Minister Ersin Tatar thanked Turkey for the healthcare materials including 20,000 test kits, 10 ventilators and 2 PCR machines, among others.
Since originating in China last December, the virus has claimed nearly 603,000 lives in 188 countries and regions, according to the latest figures US-based Johns Hopkins University.
More than 14.31 million cases have been reported worldwide, while over 8 million patients have recovered so far.
