ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's state aid agency taught teachers and students from Balkan countries how to make drones.
Six teachers and 12 students learned to make and fly a drone at a training held in Turkey's northwestern province of Edirne, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) said in a statement Friday.
The trainees were also taught aviation history of Turkey and rest of the world.
Trainees who completed theoretical and practical courses successfully were rewarded with a certificate.
They also visited many historic and tourist sites such as Teknofest Istanbul and Canakkale Martyrs' Memorial.
The program was organized by Trakya University.
