Turkey to deport 9 Daesh-linked Iraqi nationals

SAMSUN, Turkey (AA) - Turkey will deport nine of 21 Iraqi nationals, who were arrested for their suspected links to Daesh, a security source said.

The Daesh suspects were detained on Wednesday as part of an anti-terror operation launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Samsun, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media.

Four of them were released from the police station in order to be deported as per instructions of the prosecutor’s office, the source added.

After health check, five others were referred to a Samsun court, which also ordered their deportation.
