Turkey to face Spain in FIBA World Cup qualifiers

Turkey already booked ticket for 2019 FIBA World Cup to be held in China

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey will face Spain in FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers on Monday.

The match will be played at Santiago Martin Arena on the Spanish Canary Island of Tenerife on Sunday at 09.30 p.m. local time (1600GMT).

Turkey guaranteed to qualify for 2019 World Cup in China before the last two matches against Slovenia and Spain in FIBA World Cup qualifiers.

Turkey is at second place in Group I with 7 wins and 3 losses after Spain that recorded 8 wins and 2 losses.

Turkey would finish the qualifying Group I in the first place if it beats Spain.

The top three teams from the group will qualify for the FIBA Basketball 2019 World Cup to be held on Aug. 31-Sept. 15 in China.
