ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's Rukiye Yildirim won bronze medal in World Taekwondo Championships on Friday.
The U.K.'s Manchester Arena hosted the World Taekwondo Championships for the very first time, which will continue until May 19.
In the third day of the tournament, Yildirim claimed the bronze medal in women's 49 kg category after losing against Thailand's Panipak Wongpattanakit in the semifinal.
On Wednesday, Turkey's Nafia Kus also claimed a bronze medal in women's 73 kg category.
