Turkey's auto sales over 195,000 in H1
Automotive market shrinks nearly 45% year-on-year in first 6 months of this year, according to industry group

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's car and light commercial vehicle sales totaled 195,144 in the first half of this year, the Automotive Distributors' Association (ODD) said on Tuesday.
The automotive market narrowed nearly 45% on a yearly basis this January-June, the association said in a statement.
Passenger car sales also slipped 43.3% to 156,378 during the same period.
An ODD report showed that 38,766 light commercial vehicles were sold in the first six months of this year, nearly half of the total from the same period last year.
