Turkey's benchmark stock index down at open
BIST 100 index decreases 0.47% from previous close, USD/TRY exchange rate stands at 5.83

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index went down 0.47% or 432.98 points to open at 92,172.86 points Thursday.
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 5.8330 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Thursday, compared to 5.7890 at Wednesday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 6.6040, versus 6.5540, and one British pound traded for 7.4200 Turkish liras, compared to the last close at 7.4020.
One barrel of Brent oil was sold for $62.03 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Thursday.
