Turkey's Borsa Istanbul down at weekly close
BIST 100 loses over 1,250 points at closing session on Friday

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the week at 121,015.14 points, down 1.04% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 122,476.31 points. As of the daily close, it had earned 1,268.73 points from Thursday's close of 122,283.87 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,566 by market close, up from $1,564.80 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $54.50 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Friday.
