Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 0.72% at close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index rose 0.72% to 119,338.85 points in the closing session of Tuesday.

After starting the day at 118,792.40 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 853.61 points from Monday's close of 118,485.24 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,779.80 by market close, up from $1,777.60 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $43.10 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Tuesday.
