Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 3.13% at close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index rose 3.13% to 118,398.67 points as it closed on Monday.

After starting the week at 116,262.12 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 3,590.11 points from Friday's close of 114,808.56 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,809 by market close, up from $1,807.20 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $43.25 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Monday.
