Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 105,359.76 points on Thursday, up 0.39% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 105,642.72 points. As of the daily close, it earned 406.26 points from Wednesday's close of 104,935.82 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,725 by market close, up from $1,707 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $35.30 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Thursday.
