Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at close
BIST 100 earns over 250 points versus previous close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index on Wednesday closed at 120,048.74 points, up 0.21% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 119,940.00 points. As of the daily close, it earned 250.91 points from Tuesday's close of 119,797.82 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,566.40 by market close, down from $1,569.70 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $56 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Wednesday.
