Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at Monday's close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,398.52 points on Monday, up by 0.54% from the previous close.

Starting the week at 1,388.20 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index earned 7.46 points from the previous close of 1,422.06 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,777.25 by market close, down from $1,779.30 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $74.30 per barrel as of 6:20 p.m. local time (1520GMT).
