Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at Tuesday's close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,359.55 points on Tuesday, up 0.77% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,348.08 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 10.44 points from Monday's close of 1,349.11 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,790 by market close, down from $1,809 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $73.64 per barrel as of 6.23 p.m. local time (1523GMT).
