The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), served iftar to 400 Turks and other Muslim-origin migrants in Italy's northern Milan and Trieste provinces, according to a statement issued by the agency.
Speaking at the event, Turkish Consul General to Milan Ozgur Uluduz said, “the unity of Muslims here is very important during the holy month of Ramadan. Turkey has always been with Muslims. Being with Muslim brothers is one of the key principles for Turkey.”
TIKA's regional head Riza Haluk Soner and the representatives of Muslim communities in Italy attended the event.
