Turkish boy playing lego guitar attracts Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash

‘This guitar is too cool,’ Slash says, sharing 11-year-old Can Sayar's guitar performance on Instagram

ISTANBUL (AA) - World-famous American rock guitarist Saul Hudson, also known as Slash, shared a video of a Turkish boy playing a Lego-made guitar.

Slash, the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, shared the video of Can Sayar playing the guitar with his followers on Instagram.

"This Lego Guitar is TOO COOL," Slash said for Sayar's performing the song "Chechen Girl" by Tanburi Cemil Bey, an Ottoman composer.

Sayar, 11, is a student at the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory.

The unique microtonal guitar, developed by young guitarist Sayar in collaboration with his guitar teacher, Tolgahan Cogulu's son Atlas Cogulu and his friend Rusen Can Acet, took great attention on social media.
