Turkish, British defense chiefs speak over phone

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar spoke Thursday to his British counterpart over the phone, according to Turkey’s National Defense Ministry.

Akar and the UK’s Defense Secretary Ben Wallace exchanged views on issues of bilateral and regional defense, security, as well as cooperation in the defense industry, said the ministry.
