Turkish Central Bank hikes policy rate
Monetary Policy Committee raises policy rate, also known as one-week repo rate, from 16.5 to 17.75 percent

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey’s Central Bank on Thursday said its Monetary Policy Committee had decided to raise the one-week repo rate, also known as the bank's policy rate, by 1.25 percentage points.
The bank said in a statement that the policy rate was increased from 16.5 to 17.75 percent.
