Turkish construction firm Dorce to exhibit its products in int'l defense event

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish construction firm Dorce Prefabrik will exhibit its products, manufacture for military purpose, during a major defense event International the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) this week.

The four-day event, starting on Tuesday in the Turkish metropolitan city Istanbul, will host military representatives from over 40 countries.

Dorce, which completed several projects in more than 60 countries in six continents, is among leading firms in its field, according to a press release.

The firm will exhibit its products including military mobile hospital, refugee camps, military border camps, control points, security cabins, bulletproof modular units.

Offering customized solutions in the defense and aerospace industry, Dorce carries out its projects with its engineers at all stages.

The firm is able to conduct multiple projects in different regions, where can be very hot or cold, in the world, the press release read.

It noted that its products, such as border and military base camps, military containers, prefabricated wards, field hospitals, military and police training centers, lodgings and modular cabins, can be designed with resistance against explotions and equipped with heating-cooling systems, alarm, CCTV and emergency/warning systems.

It also said the firm's special containers, which can be moved by helicopters, requires no equipment for montage.

The firm can produce 120 pieces of modular units in one day, it added.

Dorce can also produce prefabricated heavy steel buildings, such as a hangar project for Japanese army in Djibouti.

The firm's mobile container towers provides quick installation and low maintenance cost in several fields such as military operation areas or border fields. It can be built in five minutes by one person.
