Turkish construction firm's 'Plug & Play' structures reduces construction time

ISTANBUL (AA) - Dorce Prefabrik pre-fabricated structures now include installation, which reduces construction time, within the scope of the "Plug & Play" system produced by a Turkish construction company, according to a statement Friday.

Plug & Play modular structures continue to increase usage area, and they do not just meet the need for shelter but also meet the needs from energy production to agriculture, from telecommunication to heating-cooling systems, said the statement.

The company said construction site processes, which take months, will be soon eliminated.

Modular structures that minimize carbon footprint, noise pollution and vehicle traffic accelerate the transition process, it added.

Containers with trailers, completed by Dorce Prefabrik with modular construction systems, have become an integral part of practical, flexible, fast and easy field solutions by providing multi-purpose use.

Modular containers with trailers, converted from sea transport containers, are designed as toilets and shower containers according to demand and used especially by the defense industry after their production is completed.

Dorce continues to complete "Emergency Accommodation and Refugee Camps" projects in many regions in Turkey and the world.

More than 100 "Container Modular Housing Units" are produced daily at the company's production facility and made ready for shipment.

A Refugee Container City of 100,000 people in Turkey's southern provinces of Hatay, Kahramanmaras and Adana was completed in a short time with the Plug & Play model.

Dorce's fully-fledged mobile field hospitals have treatment and emergency response capabilities, including endoscopy, x-ray, ultrasound, orthopedics and general surgery.

Prefabricated mobile field hospitals are produced in a bulletproof and explosion-proof manner in accordance with all strategic situations and climatic conditions.

The hospitals can also be equipped with alarm systems, heating-cooling systems, CCTV systems, security and warning systems, if needed. It can be installed quickly for routine surgical services and emergency health care services.

While quickly providing a quality and safe working environment for military medical personnel, as in a normal health facility, there is no need for a specially hardened floor.

Dorce integrated mobile field hospitals, produced as a result of research and development studies, can be ready for use in two hours.

It can be easily shipped by land, sea and air transport.
