Turkish defense firm exhibiting naval projects, UAV systems at fair in Qatar

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish defense firm STM is exhibiting its military naval platforms, tactical mini-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, and cyber security capabilities at an international maritime defense fair that began in Qatar’s capital Doha on Monday.

The Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022), which will end on Wednesday, features products of over 200 companies from 20 countries.

According to a statement from the company, I Class Frigates, Navy Fleet Tanker which was developed for Pakistan, Multi-Purpose Attack Craft, ALPAGU Fixed-Wing Autonomous Tactical Attack Drone, KARGU Rotary Wing Attack Drone, and TOGAN national autonomous multi-rotor reconnaissance drone are displayed in the 3-day event.

Established in 1991, the STM runs technology transfer and business development activities in more than 20 countries ranging from South America to the Far East.

DIMDEX 2022 offers companies operating in various fields – such as technological and electronic warfare systems, shipbuilding, radar, missile, and naval mines – an opportunity to introduce their products and make new agreements.
