Turkish defense industry to attend Gulf arms exhibition

23 Turkish contractors to showcase latest products at Kuwait fair

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish defense companies will showcase their latest designs at a Gulf trade fair next week.

The Gulf Defense and Aerospace Exhibition in Kuwait will be attended by 23 Turkish companies over Dec. 12-14.

Turkey's Defense and Aerospace Industry Exporters' Association will be joined by Aselsan, FNSS, HAVELSAN, Otokar and STM, among others.

Various armored vehicles, the MILGEM warship project and simulator systems will be among the Turkish defense innovations demonstrated.

Defense companies from 20 countries will attend and the Turkish delegation will be led by Undersecretary for Defense Industries Ismail Demir.

The delegates will hold high-level meetings with other contractors and military officials, particularly those from Kuwait.
