Turkish economy's total turnover soars 124.8% in October
Official data indicates strong annual growth in key sectors of industry, construction, trade, services

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish economy's total turnover jumped 124.8% on an annual basis in October, the country's statistical authority announced on Tuesday.
The increase stemmed from significant growth in the industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
The largest annual hike was 155.4% in the services sector, followed by trade at 125.9%.
Turnover in the construction and industry sectors surged 113.7% and 112.1%, respectively.
The total turnover index also increased 3.9% on a monthly basis.
