Turkish football club report 8 more coronavirus cases
Lower-league club Aydeniz Et Balikesirspor say 6 more players and 2 staffers tested positive, bringing total to 19

ISTANBUL (AA) – A lower-league football team in northwestern Turkey on Monday confirmed that six more of its players and two staffers had tested positive for COVID-19.
With the new cases, Bursa-based Aydeniz Et Balikesirspor now has a total of 19 coronavirus cases, including 14 players.
The club has not released the names of the infected individuals.
After suspending play earlier this year due to the pandemic, football matches resumed this June without any spectators.
