Besiktas goalkeeper Ersin Destanoglu sole Turk selected to European 2020 Youth Team of Year

ANKARA (AA) - Besiktas' Turkish goalkeeper Ersin Destanoglu was selected on Tuesday for the 2020 UEFA Youth Men Team of the Year (U20) by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

Destanoglu, 20, was the only Turk to be named to the U20 team of 2020.

He had 10 clean sheets this season but conceded 18 goals in 22 Turkish Super Lig matches.
