Turkish main opposition slams Russian video of Erdogan

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish main opposition leader slammed Russian state TV broadcasts Tuesday that appears to show Turkey’s president waiting to meet his Russian counterpart last week.

"This display hurts me,” Kemal Kilicdaroglu told the Republican People’s Party (CHP) parliamentary group. “Is there any injustice? Yes, there is. Is this false? Yes, it is. Are the people there underestimated? Yes, they are."

The video shows President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his delegation apparently waiting two minutes before meeting President Vladimir Putin last week in Moscow where the two men agreed to a new cease-fire in Syria's northwestern Idlib province.

“We never accept this kind of behavior to the Turkish delegation,” Kilicdaroglu said. "We never find it correct," he added.
