Turkish parliament speaker heads to Qatar for official talks

ANKARA (AA) - The speaker of Turkiye's parliament embarked on an official visit to the Qatari capital Doha on Tuesday.

Mustafa Sentop, along with a top-level delegation, went to Qatar from the Esenboga Airport in the capital Ankara.

Sentop and his accompanying parliamentary delegation will be received on Wednesday by Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Later, Sentop is scheduled to meet with his counterpart, the speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim and Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani.

He is also expected to visit the Doha Institute to deliver a speech.
