BURSA, Turkey (AA) - Turkish police rounded up four suspects in an operation against Daesh terrorist group in the northwestern city of Bursa, according to security sources on Sunday.

The suspects were nabbed from their residence in Mudanya district of Bursa during a joint operation held by the local directorate of spy agency National Intelligence Organization and the Directorate of Intelligence Bureau.

Among the suspects, two women with fake foreign identification documents were identified only by their initials L.F. -- a citizen of the Netherlands -- and S.D. -- a dual citizen of Morocco and the Netherlands.

They were sought with a "red" and "blue" notice by the Interpol.

Interpol's red notice is a request to locate and provisionally arrest an individual pending extradition. A blue notice is issued to collect additional information about a person’s identity, location or activities in relation to a crime.

The other two suspects, identified with the initials A.K. -- a citizen of the Netherlands of Iraqi origin -- and M.O.Q. -- a citizen of Iraq -- were captured by police on the grounds of aiding and abetting the terror group members.

The suspects are allegedly linked to Daesh operations in Syria, the police said.

All suspects were referred to the provincial security directorate.

More than 300 people have lost their lives in Daesh-claimed attacks in Turkey, where the terror group has targeted civilians in suicide bomb, rocket, and gun attacks.
