ISTANBUL (AA) - European football's governing body UEFA appointed a Turkish beach soccer referee on Wednesday to officiate European beach soccer qualifiers in Russia in July.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said on website that Ozcan Sultanoglu has been assigned by FIFA for the UEFA qualifying competition in Moscow.
The UEFA qualifying competition is a European beach soccer tournament which determines the qualified European nations to participate in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, Paraguay 2019.
The competition is organized by FIFA in Moscow's Luzhniki Olympic Complex between July 19 and 27.
Twenty teams will compete in Russia to book their places for Paraguay 2019.
Turkey will face Switzerland, Belarus and Lithuania in Group E.
