Turkish stock exchange down at Thursday's close

ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul fell 1.05% to close at 3,934.52 points on Thursday.

BIST 100 index lost 41.84 points from Wednesday's close of 3,976.36 points.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 3.1 trillion Turkish liras ($168.5 billion) by close, with a daily trading volume of 67 billion Turkish liras ($3.61 billion).

The price of Brent crude oil was around $95.01 per barrel as of 6.00 p.m. local time (1500GMT), while one ounce of gold traded at $1,666.
