Turkish stock exchange up at weekly open
Benchmark index gains around 10 points at opening session on Monday

ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 5,485.47 points, up 0.18%, or 9.99 points, from last week's close.
On Friday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index closed the week at 5,475.48 points, falling 0.36%.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 23.6756 as of 09.57 a.m. local time (0657GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 25.8851, while a British pound traded for 30.3460 liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $75.88 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,966.40.
