Turkish stocks end Thursday down 0.57%

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index ended Thursday down 0.57% to close at 109,155.41 points.

Starting the day at 109,150.34 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 623.53 points from 109,778.94 points at the midweek close.

One ounce of gold sold for $1,730.00 by market close, up from $1,724.60 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent oil was $38.73 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Thursday, with a day range of $38.64 to $41.38
