Turkish stocks start Tuesday up
BIST 100 index goes up over 666 points versus Monday's close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index rose 0.55%, or 666.45 points, to start the day at 120,816.15 points on Tuesday.
On Monday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index went down 1.63% to 120,149.70 points with a daily trading volume of 11.4 billion Turkish liras (nearly $1.9 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 5.9450 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Tuesday, down from 5.9510 at Monday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate slipped 6.5540, versus 6.5630, and one British pound traded for 7.7750 Turkish liras, while it was 7.7830 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $58.56 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Tuesday.
