Turkish stocks up 0.32% at daily close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index ended Tuesday up 0.32% to close at 99,583.82 points.

Starting the day at 98,984.18 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index surged 910.54 points from Monday's close at 98,673.28 points.

An ounce of gold sold for $1,465.00 at the daily close in Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, versus $1,460.00 at the previous close.

The price of Brent oil was $59.86 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Tuesday, with a day range of $59.16 to $60.55.
