Turkish stocks up at weekly close

At closing bell BIST 100 index rises over 360 points from previous close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the week at 110,476.59 points on Friday, up 0.33% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 111,010.65, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 361.93 points from Thursday's close of 110,114.66 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was around $1,470.00 by market close, decreasing from $1,475.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $65.00 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Friday-- with a day range of $64.35 to $65.29.
