ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's vice president received Kyrgyzstan's foreign minister on Wednesday for talks on ways to improve bilateral ties between the two countries, said Turkish authorities.

In their meeting at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara, Vice President Fuat Oktay and Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev agreed on the countries using their own national currencies in trade and establishing Turkish-Kyrgyz investment fund, according to Oktay's office.

He and Kulubaev exchanged views on issues that might be on the agenda at an upcoming meeting of Türkiye-Kyrgyzstan High Level Strategic Cooperation Council, planned to be held later this year.

In their evaluation of the efforts of the Organization of Turkic States, Kulubaev noted that his country's President Sadyr Japarov would attend the Fourth World Nomad Games to be held in the Iznik district of the western Bursa province from Sept. 29 to Oct.2.
