Türkiye earns nearly $1.6B from hazelnut exports in 10 months
World's largest hazelnut exporter sells more than 260,000 tons of hazelnuts from September 2022 to June 2023

ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye earned $1.58 billion from hazelnut exports between September 2022 and June 2023, a regional trade union announced on Tuesday.
The country exported 262,173 tons of hazelnuts during the first 10 months of the season, which starts in September and ends August.
In June alone, the country's hazelnut exports totaled 19,328 tons, with a value of $119.4 million.
Türkiye is the largest hazelnut exporter globally.
