Türkiye grants permanent residency card to Italian coach of women’s national volleyball team

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hands Giovanni Guidetti special form of work permit while receiving him at Esenboga Airport

ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye granted a permanent residency card Thursday to the Italian coach of the Turkish women’s national volleyball team.

Receiving Italian coach Giovanni Guidetti at Esenboga Airport’s Grand Honor Hall, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan handed him a Turquoise card, a special form of work permit for an unlimited duration which grants foreigners the right to reside and work permanently in Türkiye.

Guidetti has been coaching the Turkish women's volleyball national team since 2017.
