Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul ends week down

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index ended Friday at 2,011.16 points, down 0.15% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 2,008.05 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 3.05 points from Thursday's close of 2,014.21 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,839 by market close, up from $1,835 at the previous close.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $88.85 per barrel as of 6.30 p.m. local time (1530GMT).
