Türkiye's Borsa Istanbul up at open

ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened at 2,734.44 points on Friday, up 0.40% or 10.77 points from the previous close.

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 17.9617 as of 10.14 a.m. local time (0714GMT) up from 17.9450 on Thursday.

The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 18.3881 from 18.2930, while a British pound traded for 21.8521 Turkish liras, up from 21.7770 at the previous close.

Brent crude oil was selling at around $94.72 per barrel.
